Freeze policy for 2.0.x and 2.2?

Hi,
I just want to know in short what the string and freeze policies are for
2.0.x and 2.2? Are any string/ui changes allowed for 2.0.x releases? Must
every change with regards to this be approved by the release team?
Just wonder what bugs we can fix in eog for 2.0.1 and what need wait for
2.2.
