db3x is a binary compatibility package, nothing more. The db3 and
db3-devel packages are the ones you'll want to compile GNOME with.
I don't actually know which parts of GNOME require DB. If someone can
give me a heads-up on that, I'll be happy to double-check to be sure
that they're suitable.
