Ok, i'm running Gnome2 compiled by myself (gcc -march=i686 eq)
on a Dell dimension xpsd333 with a nvidia riva 128 card and 
128 Mb ram which was somewhat large for a pc 4 years ago.

Crux gtk2 theme
Nautilus2 with gorilla theme is Ok
Mozilla beta OK NOT
Gnumeric works ok

Compiling large c++ apps (qt mozilla) is HELL
GIVE me an E 6500 someone pls.
