gedit2 from tarball hosed

Looks like the gedit2 tarball is out of whack.

Nothing in the 'plugins' directory is getting shipped with the tarball. 
I'm not sure if the plugins should be shipped, or if the potfiles.in
needs updating.  If it's the latter, I can do a patch and ship binaries
based on this tarball, if the former, I think a new release will be
needed.  Thanks,
