Not currently, if you want to work on that, please go ahead.
gnome-desktop is NOT frozen and won't be for the forseeable future. The idea
behind this library is similar like behind gal and eel, it is a library where
new code is tested, before being put into one of the platform libraries. Of
course this also means that you shouldn't depend on gnome-desktop lib unless
you are prepared to suffer the consequences (that is following a non-frozen
library). Just making sure everyone is clear on that :)
