PREFIX/share/gnome/vfolders/Applications.directory seems to have the
information related to the Other directory. This means that
applications:// has "Other" and the Other icon in the sidebar. It also
effects the (incomplete) Menu applet.
I changed this file to refelect applications like it should and that
fixed the start-here sidebar but now my other menu has changed to
"Applications".
Is there no way to sepporate out the Applications and Other menu items?
