Hi

I appreciate you all are busy coding for gnome2, but I have a question 
with regards to maintaining of gnome 1.4.x (current release). I had a bug 
in http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59687 for gnomecc which was 
closed but not fixed. The suggestion was made to upgrade to an 
experimental 1.5.x version (even tho the bug was for 1.4.x). When I 
enquired as to why this was, I was informed that 1.4.x wasn't being 
maintained as the maintainer had to much work to do supporting 1.5.x and 
porting to 2.0. Is this normally the case that bugs wont be fixed in 1.4 
Gnome now that we are to busy on porting to Gnome2? If not, is there some 
idea of what form gnomecc will take as a maintained version until gnome2 
is released? I'd rather not use a experimental version just to fix a bug, 
esp on machines I need to rely on every day to get my work done.
