Why does Beagle 0.2.2.1 not index my Mutt .Mail directories?

Dear Dashboard Hackers

Why does Beagle not index my Mutt .Mail directory? It seems to me,
that Beagle is only searching for the .Kmail directories and does not
index my .Mail directory of Mutt.

The Log tells me:
060316 1658432308 08124 Beagle  WARN: KMail backend: /home/zeno/.Mail
contains a maildir directory but no corresponding index file. Probably
not a KMail mail directory. Ignoring this location!

Any help is greatly appreciated!
