its an issue with an API change in mono 1.1.12. Should you have your heart set on the latest and greatest beagle (I mean, who wouldn't :) ) then you can downgrade to 1.1.11

I had the same problem. You have to apply the patch enclosed in the previous
ML message (beagle 01.4 announce).
It seems that we have a mono version where those properties of
ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.Tar.TarHeader weren't public.
