Do you run in the turkish locale?  (LANG=tr_TR.UTF-8)

If so, I filed a bug about this a few weeks ago, and it's fixed in mono

If you don't want to update or hack your mono installation, the best
workaround is to run in a different locale, like en_US.UTF-8.
