It wasn't an API compatibility, etc. It looks like the mono version will affect all users so I thought it would be Gentoo-ish to depend on the fixed version so users get a good bealge 0.2.5. I didn't expect you to update mono since you're not the maintainer (there's already a bug filed for this), but update the dep.
