I'm seeing the same thing with 0.0.10 on a gentoo-sources-2.6.11 box.  Mem
usage was up to 450Mb last night before I stopped it.

killall -9 on the processes should work (or killall -9 mono if you have no
other critical mono processes running is quicker)
