Sure. I can even give them a patch to fix some of the issues I pointed
out before.

Yes. The main problem here is to be able to run the tests with a "make
check" command (needed to integrate them with the continuous integration
system) because of the special way the tests and the makefiles are
generated. I'll take a look at this anyway.
