Yes, it is not optimal. Your proposal was also considered, but the
problem is that we cannot ensure that all modules will use the same
testing tool, and so, each tool will log its results in a different
format.

As you say, that's the ideal situation, but it is far from being true
just now and IMHO, I don't think it will become true in the future
either.

If you have some ideas about how we can solve or workaround this issue,
they will be very welcomed :)
