thanks for catching that.

yeah, i'm looking at the wiki to remove spam links about once
or twice a day. i'll then remove the spammed page versions
on the server from the page history, so the spammers don't
get extra link rating because their links appear in an old
version of the page.
for that reason, if a page has been spammed, it's better to
leave it that way, so i just need to remove one version
(the spammed incrnation) from the page history.
