Are you sure Banshee was built with iPod support? I think you have to do
something extra in Gentoo to get Banshee to build with iPod support.

Assuming Banshee is installed in /usr prefix, does this assembly exist:

/usr/lib/banshee/Banshee.Dap/Banshee.Dap.Ipod.dll
