This will probably be uploaded into Debian unstable within the next 24
hours.

balsa (2.3.0-2) unstable; urgency=low

  * Correct bugs in filters code.
    + [debian/patches/00_filters.patch]
      CVS: libbalsa/mailbox_local.c (r1.132)
  * [debian/README.Debian]:
    - Provide new URL for Albrecht Dreß's "Secure Mail with Balsa" HOWTO
  * [debian/rules]:
    - Deflate dependencies via ld's --as-needed option.

Are there any other show stopping bugs that warrant blocking balsa 2.3.0
from replacing 2.2.6 in testing? Is Albrecht's destroyed mbox incident
enough cause, or should we sit tight for the next 10 days until more
details/cases surface?

Cheers,
