Outgoing messages not put in sentbox

When I send a message it doesn't get copied to the sent box. It did up  
until a few weeks ago (maybe when I upgraded to 2.0.16?). There is an  
option for this in the Outgoing preferences tab. It is checked.

Any ideas? TIA.
