Balsa 2.2 might miss Debian "Sarge" due to gmime-2.1 problems.

Hi everyone,

Can Balsa 2.2.x be patched in any way to use gmime-2.0?

As gmime-2.1.7 cannot be built on ia64:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=258988

Balsa 2.2.x now runs the very real risk of missing the deadline for
inclusion with the next stable release ("Sarge") of Debian GNU/Linux. At
this time, only 2.0.17-2 is a candidate for shipping.

Cheers,
