Re: compose->show->attach

(cc to balsa-list, perhaps other people have an opinion about this topic. The discussion is about what should happen if one drags a message from message index to the compose window).

Aaargh. True! I kind of had embedded in my brain it was about attaching files. I need some more coffee. How should it behave then? Do we need quoting messages or we really want to attach them? Or we need both of them?

We need both. In fact i think quote is the least used case, only used when replying to multiple messages together. Think about forwarding an whole thread to someone, or what i was doing "i have a message here that says so and so" ;)

Yes, the application makes sense - but such D&D never worked _right_ in 2.x series - the pasted body was quoted twice. If nobody missed that so far, why anybody would care now (OK, I am teasing now).

How should we solve this problem? Having "Show/Attachments" just to be able to attach messages is bit stupid, IMHO - the attachment area serves just as a large D&D target. One wants to show the attachment list when there are any and have nothing shown when there are no attachments, right?
