solaris compile fails

Hello,

I'm attempting to build Balsa 2.0.11 on solaris 2.9, using gcc 3.2.2.
These are the configure arguments I used: --with-ssl --without-esmtp 
--disable-flock --enable-fcntl.  It gets to this point, then dies:
