that's odd, cvs shows 2.0.12 for me and indeed version on cvs can't be 
behind  cause releases are rolled from cvs.
I can see 2 possible causes, configure.ine is getting left behind when you 
cvs update  or you're running /usr/bin/balsa from rpm instead of src/balsa
