Yes, GPG is supported in Balsa (with GPGME library) for past version 1.3.6. See

For the currentxs versions (2.0.5 and 1.4.2), I have few time to code a new
version of my patch and I have still some unsolved bugs with GPGME in my
development :-(

But I try to correct this and to post a new patch ASAP.
