IMHO it would be better to place it in gpg. Ideal would be a really stable 
suid root app which protects itself from getting swapped, thus making all 
the hassle to avoid cleartext traces on disk more or less obsolete.

This would be great, but for the time being, adding an other dependency to 
balsa seems to be not the ideal solution. Hmmm....

They have a chapter about it in the HIG, but gtk 2.0 doesn't even have the 
icon they show there... I'm afraid, we have to build it manually.
