but how do you get the 2.x series of Balsa from CVS. I did the 
following:

export CVSROOT=':pserver:anonymous@anoncvs.gnome.org:/cvs/gnome'
cvs login
cvs -z3 checkout  -r HEAD balsa

And the sources I get choke on finding gnome 1.4 libs...
