One question to the whole porting:
Is it possible to have a 1.4 release with --enable-gtk2 and binaries for
both gtk1.2 and gtk2?
I'm sure that when 1.4 arrives not half of the balsa users has upgraded to
gftp is doing it in such a way an perhaps it is possible for balsa, too.
I'm no programmer, so I don't know the difference between the new and the
old text widget and how they are used, but if it's possible it would
surely be the best way.
In 1.5 gtk1.2 could finally be dropped...
