Hi balsa groupies,
I'm running into an error compiling balsa 1.4.0 on a
Debian "sid" system.
I run ./configure with no arguments & get this:
================ Final configuration ===================
Installing into prefix: /usr/local
Using multithreading: yes
Installing some files into Gnome's prefix: yes (may
require root privileges)
Enable compile warnings: yes
Use ESMTP : yes
Use GtkHTML: no
Use LDAP: no
Use GSS: no
Use SSL: no
Printing support: yes
and then i run make and get this error:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lssl
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [balsa] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/wastrel/src/balsa-1.4.0/src'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/wastrel/src/balsa-1.4.0'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2
I assume I shouldn't need libssl since ssl is turned off
by default?
Let me know what to do!
Thanks,
David Berner
