There were a couple of problems in the first implementation: 
line-length wasn't being computed correctly, so wrapping was off; and 
leading spaces were eaten up. This version fixes both problems, and 
parses the input a little differently. It also handles (correctly, I 
hope!) the special case of a `signature separator': "-- \n", 
optionally quoted, which mustn't be considered `flowed'.

The patch *replaces* the first version: apply to current cvs.
