D&D ideas

hi, i have a short question to the person who implemented
D&D is there a way to add a threshold to D&D ? e.g. when
clicking on an email i often get the D&D sign but it wasnt
my intention to move the mail. so a threshold that gives
some pixel space before D&D'ing would help.
