<Ali> well i have no idea howto solve that problem since i am user myself but i use pop3 accounts never played with imap myself
<Melanie_T> balsa is the closest thing because it doesn't insist on having "local" folders at all
<Ali> well balsa is so far the best mailer for gnome

<Melanie_T> also I don't know if balsa has code to detect when an imap mailbox's content changes and update the displayed headers
<Melanie_T> that would happen when another user pulls an email off the "stack" (the shared inbox) to work on it
<Melanie_T> it would have to disappear from all other screens
<Melanie_T> also, I wonder, wouldn't it be possible to have a small windows executable "wrapper" running mapi.dll under wine to access exchange server mailboxes?? should make balsa that much more popular with all the people who are stuck using MS Out***k because their sysadmins won't let them use imap with exchange server
