1.1.7 locks up when checking mail

Hello,

The subject says it all, really. I compiled 1.1.7 (BTW, it complained
about not finding libltdl.la. I had to add -L/usr/local/lib to the 
Makefile). I am running an updated RH6.2 box.

Anyway. balsa runs up but when checking mail, the dialog pops up and
then balsa hangs. I can move the dialog window, but the display is not
updated beneath it.

Anyone seen this before.
