Bother! (1.1.7 compile error)

Having diagnosed a problem with my 1.1.7 debs to be the fact that my
maintainer script stupidly overrides CFLAGS (thanks to whoever pointed
that out!) I was going to upload a new version tonight.

Alas, it no longer compiles:

gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H
-I. -I. -I.. -DGNOMELOCALEDIR=\""/usr/share/locale"\"
-I.. -I../libbalsa -I../libmutt -I/usr/include
-DNEED_GNOMESUPPORT_H -I/usr/lib/gnome-libs/include
-I/usr/include/glib-1.2 -I/usr/lib/glib/include -I/usr/include/gtk-1.2
 -I/usr/include/gtk-1.2 -I/usr/include/glib-1.2
-I/usr/lib/glib/include -g -O2 -I/usr/include/glib-1.2
-I/usr/lib/glib/include -D_REENTRANT -Wall -Wno-uninitialized
       -Wchar-subscripts -Wmissing-declarations -Wmissing-prototypes
      -Wnested-externs -Wpointer-arith -Wno-sign-compare
-Wsign-promo -Werror -I/usr/include -I/usr/include/gtk-1.2
-I/usr/include/glib-1.2 -I/usr/lib/glib/include -DNEED_GNOMESUPPORT_H
-I/usr/lib/gnome-libs/include -I/usr/include/gnome-xml
-I/usr/include/gconf/1 -DGTKHTML_HAVE_GCONF -c main.c

Is my version of gconf perhaps too old, or too new, or something like
that?

jules@pear [9] dpkg -l libgconf-dev

Is it safe to ignore the warning with a --disable-more-warnings flag
to configure, or is this a serious one?

Jules
