Well, what can I say... I am just too dumb!!! My impression from the gnome-url
doc was that it does only support `default' external url's and not specific
ones. Now I added ftp, news and nntp as URL handlers in the control center,
and see that you are just right. **Thanks for pointing me to that error!!**

So please forget about yesterday's patch and use the attached one... It
removes all the crap I introduced there, simplifies balsa-message.c a lot, and
should be somewhat "final" (I hope...) for URL handling.

The details:

* [line 1133 ff] remove the URL protocol type completely, remember just if
  it's a mailto (== balsa's internal stuff) or not (== gnome-url stuff)

* [line 1297] detect if a found URL string is mailto or not

* [line 1492 ff] in handle_url, just see if we call a new sendmsg_window or
  pass everything to gnome_url
