You can just pass --disable-more-warnings (or thewre abouts) to
configure.. saves you messing with Makefiles.

Developers,
perhaps we could make more-warnings default to yes in the CVS version and
no in a released version? I think configure already has code to detect if 
we are in CVS, so it might be easy. I will look into it (but not till
monday)
