Balsa hung up

Hi,

I am trying to retrieve mails from my POP3 server.
The Balsa hung up and takes forever to retrieve emails very often ?
But the same time other pop mail clinets works (like netscape, kmail, ..)
If there are no mail at the server, Balsa checks fine and no problem.

I am running on Redhat Linux 6.1 on Intel Pentium III
Any ideas ?
