URL Handler for mailto: in Gnome

Hello,
I am trying to get Balsa 1.0pre2 to wrok with mailto: links in Netscape and
Galeon under Gnome. Follwing the suggestions of other posts to this list,
I added a URL handler:
mailto
that activates
balsa "-m"
but when I click on a mailto: link, nothing happens.
What might Imbe missing?
