yes full system crash. cause i have a da** lucent winmodem on my laptop.
and some times it gives an "error" back..... => crash....

till now, no. never. that's the first time that i had something like
that. also there was no filesystem big fixes or modification on my /home
partition while re-starting the system.

no never tried it. i still hear that it has some problems and can loose
some data...
