you have done this yourself. nowhere alt-f is marked for copy.
this is a feature of Gtk+ - if your mouse is over some menu item, pressing 
a key makes that key a shortcut for that item. try to do this in any gtk
program - it works. simply press ctrl-c while holding mouse over the Copy
item.
