Probably a good first step would be to post a URL to your patch.

It is an awkward time to merge changes like this, because I'm pretty sure
nothing more than minor bug fixes go into the orbit-stable-0-5 branch, and
'ORBit' HEAD is a dead end (or at least I am busy working on making it
such :). If Michael Rumpf can add a pointer on his ORBit page to your
patch, that will help keep it in everyone's mind on the availibility of
your patch.
