Nice press coverage of GUADEC

Hi

The Norwegian business paper "Dagens Næringsliv" had a double page
coverage of Nat Friedman called "Rich on free IT" about Novells
aquisiton of Ximian.

The article has a big picture of Nat, mentions GUADEC with 350
participants, and the history of Ximian until it was acquired by
Novell, and the owners became millionaires. However, the price of beer
in Norway makes Nat still feel poor.. The article also mentions that
even if Microsoft has a 95% market share, there are still huge market
possibilities available in countries like China, India, Latin-America
and Africa. Nat's goal is full information freedom and equal
possibilities for all countries in the information society, and that
the user shall get back control. He means that Microsoft and Windows
locks users in to their world. - By Open Source the thousand flowers
will florish and prices will go down. It also mentioned GUADEC, and
had a sub article called "Idealistic movement becomes more commercial".

I will send a link to the article when it appears on the online paper
(www.dn.no).

GUADEC got well covered in the local press, especially in
