Go get the gtk-engines : 
ftp://ftp.jimpick.com/pub/mirrors/gnome/gnome-1.0/sources/gtk-engines-0.5.tar.gz
this is an example where you can get it.
It is in you favorite mirror for the gnome source distribution.
