as neat as this is, i don't think it's a very good candidate for the gtk
distribution. i really don't have any authority to say, so don't take my
words to be gold, but IMO gtk shouldn't get much bigger than it already
is. i'm afraid someday in the far future we'll look back and laugh at
"those gtk people, just ended up reinventing Motif".

let's not let gtk get stuffed with every widget ever imagined.. maybe we
could have a text file "EXTERNAL_WIDGETS" with URLs pointing to some other
not-made-for-main-distribution widgets? because personally, i think if
only a few games are going to use this, it should be separate.
