gtk program compilation error.

Now I installed gtk+-2.0 and compiled my program.
Now it says the error as

collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
Before this, it said errors on some header files as 'No such file or directory'.
I copied those files in the location as it needed.  Now I dont know what to do
for the above problem.  Can you help me ?
