Re: [GnomeMeeting-list] Problems with Latest Ekiga rpms Color Errors

I tried the snapshot. The latest rpms for fedora core 4 did not include one for ekiga, just pwlib, opal, etc. So I tried the tarballs dated from today and using the instructions on the seconix website. I received the following warnings/errors: While trying to make pwlib: ... lib/lib/obj_linux_x86_r/inetprot.o g++ -D_REENTRANT -Wall -fPIC -DPIC -I/home/peldor/rpmDownloads/ekiga/snapshots/pwlib/include -Os -felide-constructors -c ../common/notifier_ext.cxx -o /home/peldor/rpmDownloads/ekiga/snapshots/pwlib/lib/obj_linux_x86_r/notifier_ext.o bison ../common/getdate.y -o ../common/getdate.tab.c Display: :0.0 Warning: Can't load DEC-XTRAP extension xtrapout: could not initialize XTrap extension make[2]: *** [../common/getdate.tab.c] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/peldor/rpmDownloads/ekiga/snapshots/pwlib/src/ptlib/unix' make[1]: *** [opt] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/peldor/rpmDownloads/ekiga/snapshots/pwlib' make: *** [optshared] Error 2 and opals configure gave me a warning: ... configure: WARNING: linux/telephony.h: accepted by the compiler, rejected by the preprocessor! configure: WARNING: linux/telephony.h: proceeding with the preprocessor's result configure: WARNING: ## ------------------------------------ ## configure: WARNING: ## Report this to bug-autoconf gnu org ## configure: WARNING: ## ------------------------------------ ## Is there a snapshot rpm for ekiga available, or should I try an older tarball? I finally have coriander installed and working properly on FC4 for my iSight. I installed the latest Ekiga rpms and my end result is that while the video looks OK in the coriander display, it appears in green and pinkish-red in the Ekiga video window. Some of these might be warnings or unrelated, but here is what happened during my install atttempt.

When upgrading to the latest Ekiga rpms, I received the following message:

/sbin/ldconfig: Input file /usr/lib/libgettextlib-0.14.3.so not found.

but the rpms seemed to install OK. I do have gettext version 0.14.3 installed. Next, when I ran Ekiga, I received a message:

(ekiga:7429): libgnomevfs-CRITICAL **: gnome_vfs_get_uri_from_local_path: assertion `local_full_path[0] == '/'' failed

But Ekiga still seemed to run and operate OK. (Except for that green/pinkish-red video display.) Any ideas on how to fix the video color in Ekiga?

Can you try recent snapshots from http://snapshots.seocnix.com/ ?

Thx,
