Thank you for your reply. It's the README file that put me in the wrong
direction then. Now I'm running Anjuta2 without gtksourceview and
glimmer. No wonder why I can't do anything useful with it :)

So a quick suggestion from me would be to update the README file by
adding those 2 packages to the required list and removing the
gnome-debug package.
