Don't worry, GLIB 2.0 will include GObject, thus eliminating the
dependency on GTK+ only for using the type system.

Please note that gtkmm wraps gtk 1.2 (the latest released version), which
in turn uses glib 1.2, so it is not possible currently to remove the GTK+
dependency.

BTW, I'm happy that I really got some feedback this time. I will create a
SourceForge page tomorrow and invite everyone interested so we can begin
discussing bonobo-- specifics.
