debian xinitrc: is this a problem?

I copied a sample .xinitrc into the appropriate home directory, but then I found
this in /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc (Debian):

#!/bin/sh
# $Xorg: xinitrc.cpp,v 1.3 2000/08/17 19:54:30 cpqbld Exp $

# /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc
#
# global xinitrc file, used by all X sessions started by xinit (startx)

# invoke global X session script
. /etc/X11/Xsession

I'm wondering if there will be any conflict either between this file or
/etc/X11/Xsession, which is executed at the end of this file and the .xinitrc
and ~/.gnome2/session-manual I have set up in my home directory. I can include
the Xsession file if necessary in another post, but somebody using debian may be
able to answer this question without needing me to post the file.

Thanks.

Cheryl
