[gedit-list] file browse side panel

Has anyone ever asked about the possibility of adding
a directory/file browse side panel in gedit to make it
more ide like?

A lot of people use gedit as an IDE and it would be
nice to have a directory browse feature, hidden by
default to keep the LnF simple.

I'm sure that you'd like a patch, so if you think the
idea is of interest I'll start working on one.
