Hello everyone:  The folks at Eazel have alerted us that today they got a 
call from John Markoff at the New York Times.  John is apparently on to the 
announcement and wants to run a story on Monday.  We think it is unlikely 
that he can be dissuaded from holding it until Tuesday.  That is how 
reporters get beat to stories.

We are suggesting that Miguel speak with him tomorrow to give him an 
overview of the announcement.  Since he is apparently calling down the list 
of participants in the advisory, we'd like to help him get to the right 
people.  So here is the list of contact information that we would like to 
send.  We've limited this to one person per organization, because I suspect 
John will have little patience for a long list.  It is a subset of the 
contact list that we'll provide in the press kits at the event.

You will rightly ask what does this mean for the Monday pre-brief 
strategy.  We'd like to move this up a day, and call the top tier targets 
and alert them that we have gotten some calls based on the advisory going 
out.  Some will take us up on interviews, some won't, but at least they 
can't come back and say we didn't give them a chance.  This is the list of 
pubs we'd like to alert tomorrow:  WSJ, the Merc, SF Chron, Dow Jones wire, 
Reuters, Bloomberg, AP and CNET.  On the wires and CNET, we'll stick to 
late in the day, to avoid a story tomorrow.
