Hi there,

A friend of mine asked me to introduce him to programming Gtk+-2.0, and
libxml-2.0. I decided it would be a nice example to let him implement a
XML-exporter for Evolution-calendars.

Based, of course, on the patch which you can see here, I would like to
explain him how to make an 'interface' in C (a struct with of course
functionpointers, much like a 'plugin' but then statically compiled of
course) which he'd then implement per formatting-type (one for ical, one
for CSV and one for XML).

Before I let this person do something useless, I'm interested to know
the interest in these patches and work.

If it's not a good idea, then.. okay (life goes on) and I'll choose
another example for my friend.

Else I'm planning to use this, and (we) will provide a (larger) patch
that would add support for both XML and CSV.
